Review of the 2007 RXV

-Please introduce yourself first. Who are you and where are you from?
My age is 44. I am an active member from the Aprilia Riders Association, the official Aprilia Riders Club in the
I have a Tuono model 2006, Nero mat black, and a RS250 for using on the racetrack.
-Did you add any mods to your bike?
I change a lot on the RS250, because the use on the racetrack, Exhaust, original race exchaust from Italy, bodywork, colors, wilbers suspension on the back and WP suspension on the front.
I only change the exhaust for Akrapovics on the Tuono and a black front body screen.
-If you could ask Aprilia to design a new model what would it be?
I am very curious about the V4 model and the result in 2008 in the Superbike.
-And finally do you have any motorcycling tips for the readers of Aprilia News?

The guys from Rsvr.net are have build a SXV 550 engine into a RS250 frame. And they have a very professional approach I must say. Why did you buy an Aprilia and what do you like so much about it?
Since the beginning I always owned a 2 cil. motorbike and from the moment I had a ride with the Futura I knew this was it. My former bike gave me the feeling that everything was attached at the steering wheel when I was riding and this Aprilia gives me the feeling that everything is moving. And then the sound that comes right out of the exhaust pipes….it really gives me the feeling I always wanted to have…
And what don’t you like about your bike?
I prefered the golden wheels instead of the bleu ones.
If you could ask Aprilia to design a new model what would it be?
A new Futura and I will own two Aprilia’s, that’s for sure.

Aprilia Rally Dakar team presentation
The dutch Aprilia Dakar Rally Team will be racing a RXV 450 in the Le Dakar 2007 rally. The rally starts on January 6th. This sunday the Aprilia Dakar Rally Team had their team presentation showing their heavily modified red RXV 450. Dutch driver Patrick van Lee will be driving the bike to Dakar. Aprilia News will follow the news on Patrick and his RXV closely and will keep you updated as much as possible. Also expect detailed reports during the race itself.

Aprilia is testing the new v4 in a bike that looks a lot like the 06 RSV Factory. But the frame is definately different on this bike.

Tuono wins Motorcycleusa's Euro streetfighter test
Motorcycleusa had a test with today's best European streetfighters. And guess who won the shootout? Yes its the Tuono. With a score of 89.5% the Tuono beats the Triumph Speed Triple, MV Agusta Brutale 910S and the Ducati Monster S4R Testastretta. Aprilia celebrates their 1st place in the Supermoto S2 Championship by releasing a special version of the SXV. The van den Bosch replica features several trick goodies like: red/black Alpina wheels,carbon tank,less wide seat and loads of other goodies. The guys from Noale also didn't leave the engine untouched. A tuned cylinder head,faster cams and an exhaust made from titanium makes it smoking fast.
