The 125 cc race was spectacular, as it always is, filled with breathtaking overtakings and late breakings. Aprilia performed brilliantly, placing two RSAs on the podium.The race is won by Mattia Pasini, who finally got this long awaited result after a series of unlucky mechanical breakdowns. He is followed by Koyama, KTM, and Faubel on his RSA of the Bancaja Aspar team.

The rain that has been falling since this morning over the Donington Park circuit forced riders and teams to use the set up they tested on Friday. The race, deeply affected by the weather conditions, was uncertain until the very last lap, offering the wide audience a breathtaking experience. Aprilia performed well, with Alex De Angelis conquering the second step of the podium. Lorenzo didn't make it to the finish because of a big highsider wich threw him off the bike.
Italian Supermoto Championship
On Saturday night in Torino, Christian Iddon (Aprilia SXV 5.5) was crowned the winner of the Italian S2 Supermoto Grand Prix. It is the first time that the young British talent finished first in a day of racing at a world race. It was also the first time that an Aprilia, multi-victor in the 450, climbed atop the top podium in the higher-cylinder class with the SXV 5.5.

Defending AMA PPG Supermoto Unlimited champ Ben Carlson continued the dominating form he’s displayed ever since bringing the #1 plate over to the Factory Aprilia Rip It Energy Racing squad at Miller Motorsports Park on Saturday, claiming his third consecutive victory in as many rounds this season. The Wisconsin-native once again powered away from pole to a wire-to-wire victory aboard his twin-cylinder SXV550, riding an inch-perfect race throughout the 8-lap affair.
Afterwards, an excited Carlson said, “Three in a row, we’ve had a good run. Knock on wood, hopefully everything keeps going this way this season. It was hot out there, it just takes your breath away from you a little bit but we gave it 110% in that race. The whole crew has been great. We’ve been working really hard and it’s what you get.”
t was an unfortunate French Grand Prix for Team Aprilia Off Road. The tightly-knit group spent the past month concentrating on the development of the MXV 4.5 before presenting the motorcycle at the starting line of the 7th round. After the first part of season that saw injuries to both Chicco Chiodi and Cedric Melotte. In the first fraction, Cedric Melotte was in 18th place when he withdrew just a few laps from the finish line due to a blockage in the posterior brake piston. Chicco Chiodi mounted a comeback, making his way from 26th to 19th place overall.
In Race 2, both riders withdrew before the end of the race due to technical failures.
