Shinya Nakano got his first taste of the Aprilia RSV4 he will campaign in next years World Superbike Championship at Valencia yesterday.
Nakano will use the test to get the base setting of the bike set-up before heading to the first official top teams test which takes place in Kylami, South Africa during the second week of December.Shinya Nakano was testing with Alex Hofmann, Nakano did an 1'36.3 which is not bad at all for a first ride on the bike. The fastest Valencia WSBK time was a 1'34.9 during free practice this year.
After the fast lap Nakano told technical director Gigi Dall'Igna that driving the RSV4 isn't that much different from riding a MotoGP bike and that was a nice compliment for the Italian technician.
